Carlton had their back to the wall for the first 20 minutes but hit the Harriers on the break with Marcus Roberts-Burton putting The Lions into the lead to make it 1-0. Carlton started to control the game but were caught with some hesitant defending which led to a Bridgford equaliser. 1-1.
In the second half, Carlton started to take the fight to the opposition and were rewarded with a goal from Harry Colquhoun, opening his account for The Lions and putting them in the lead. 2-1.
The Harriers managed to net in the final 15 minutes of the game leaving the full time score at 2-2, a fair result for an evenly matched game.
Carlton Town fielded their new signing, Ousman Sagnia, who was complimented from the away manager for his performance.
