The sought-after location of Woodthorpe sits next to the areas of Mapperley, Daybrook, Sherwood and Arnold. Woodthorpe provides easy access to the outer ring road. The A60 (Mansfield Road) and B6846 (Woodborough Road) provide vehicular access to the city centre. There are frequent bus routes into the City being well served by the Lime Line leaving from stops in Woodthorpe and the Sky Blue line travelling through nearby Mapperley.
