About Rise Park
Rise Park lies approximately four miles away from Nottingham City Centre. Sitting on the northern edge of the city it also provides easy access for both Junction 26 and 27 of the M1 motorway.
Bestwood Country Park lies close-by with 650 acres of open countryside just outside the city.
Built on the former site of Rise Farm, Rise Park was developed during the 1960’s with a large number of detached homes and bungalows built to satisfy rising demand for property.
Rise Park has a small parade of shops which include convenience stores, a hairdresser and a chip shop. Next to the shopping area is a church and a bus terminus with frequent links to the City Centre and surrounding areas of Arnold and Bulwell.
A number of local larger supermarkets are nearby, including Tesco, Aldi and Morrisons. The shopping areas of Bulwell, Hucknall and Arnold are all within commuting reach with bus services providing access to these areas.
Nearby local leisure centres include the Ken Martin Swimming Pool and Southglade Leisure Centre. Schools are Rise Park Primary and Nursery school and Top Valley Academy.
